As a sales and marketing office for international DMCs, we act as the link between DMCs and MICE planners. We are committed to ensuring that our activities are environmentally and socially responsible. Ethical and fair collaboration is a core part of our company philosophy.
True to our company slogan, “Connect with Experience,” we are frequently on the road in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on behalf of our partner DMCs, introducing MICE planners to the wide range of opportunities across the destinations in our portfolio.
In addition to personal meetings at your office, educational trips are an important part of what we do. They allow you to experience the destinations and programme elements we present first-hand and evaluate them effectively for your upcoming MICE projects.
It is not possible to carry out these activities without leaving a footprint. However, since they are an essential part of our business model and success, we cannot and do not want to forgo them. Instead, we have defined measures that we have been implementing effectively since 2021 to keep our footprint as small as possible:
- Optimised route planning for sales trips in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Use of sustainable hotels during business travel
- Use of public transportation whenever possible
- Annual calculation of our carbon footprint and corresponding offsetting through ClimatePartner
What did we offset with ClimatePartner?
Since 2021, we have documented, calculated, and continuously reduced all CO₂ emissions on an annual basis – from business travel (flights and car travel) and employee commuting to office heating and the purchase of office supplies.
Together with ClimatePartner, we recorded our annual CO₂ footprint from 2021 to 2026 and offset it through financial contributions to the following projects:
- Coal phase-out with biomass in Soacha, Colombia
- Green energy for Africa, continent-wide
- Efficient cookstoves for families in India + marine conservation worldwide
- Wind energy in Mauritania + tree-planting initiative in Germany
