This tradition continued with a significant milestone in 2016: Carol Kahmann and Oliver Stinnes founded STR proMICE. This new foundation allowed both companies to operate under independent identities and to precisely address the individual needs of their clients with a tailored DMC offering. Since then, the initials STR (Stinnes Touristik Repräsentanz) have also stood for quality and reliability in the MICE industry.
